How much is the team registration fee?

The registration fee is $180/team.

What is the refund policy for the registration fee?

We will not issue refunds for any tournament after the payment deadline of the tournament.

 

How many members are on a team?

Each team consists of 3-5 team members.

Do all participants have to be from the same school?

No, the Canadian Ethics Olympiad will accept any team composed of 3-5 Canadian high school students. However, only teams that are from the same school will be eligible to qualify for the International Ethics Olympiad.

 

How long will the tournament last?

You should expect each tournament to last the whole day.

 

Can I sign up to judge?

Yes! We are always looking for judges. Please contact us at canadianethicsolympiad@gmail.com if you are interested.

 

Do the eligible winning teams have to compete in the International Ethics Olympiad?

No. If you do not want to compete in the International Ethics Olympiad, we will offer your spot to the next team up.

 

Will we have to travel somewhere for the International Ethics Olympiad?

No. The International Ethics Olympiad will be a virtual tournament as well.
