Ethics for high school students

What makes an action right or wrong? Students learn the major ethical theories, then use them on real cases, from medical dilemmas to online privacy, in the same discussion style used at ethics bowls and the Ethics Olympiad.

  • Theories of the good and of right action

  • Utilitarianism and consequentialism

  • Kantian ethics and rights

  • Virtue ethics

  • Applied cases, and how to weigh competing views fairly
