Introduction to Epistemology Camp
A four-day online camp that takes newcomers from the basics of ethical reasoning to competing with confidence. Across 12 hours of live instruction you'll learn the major ethical theories, build sharp arguments, and practise the Ethics competition format using the six cases from the TKEthics Novice Invitational, finishing with full practice rounds and feedback. Come as an individual and we'll place you on a team. You can use this for Ethics Bowls, Ethics Olympiads, TKEthics Invitationals, or the Ethics Cup. Day 1: Ethical theories overview, utilitarianism, and argument construction Day 2: The Olympiad format and deontology Day 3: Virtue ethics and practice rounds Day 4: Synthesis through practice rounds with feedback Live online (Zoom). 4 days, 3 hours per day (12:00 to 3:00 PM ET). Ages 13 to 18. $480 CAD per person.
